The Box is a game. This page says what it keeps and why. Updated October 2026.

What we collect

• A random player id stored on your device so your progress is yours. No account is needed to play.
• If you create an account: your email, a name you choose, and a password we store only as a hash. If you join reminders: a phone number or email, with a stop link in every message.
• If you order a tee: your name, a phone number or email for the payment code, and a delivery address. Payments are handled by Paystack or Stripe; we never see card or mobile money details.
• Anonymous usage counts (locks opened, pages viewed) with no names attached, used to make the game better.

What we do not do

• No ads. No selling or sharing of your details. No tracking across other apps or sites.
• Nothing is read from your contacts, camera, microphone or location. The microphone is used only while you hold the speak button, on your device, and audio is not uploaded.

Children

Playing needs no account. Accounts, stories and orders are for people 13 and over.

Your choices

Start over erases your progress on the device. Stop reminders from the link in any message. To delete an account or an order’s details, email the address below.
